Position Qualifications/Summary:

-Must be a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
-Participate in an autonomous work environment that encourages unique clinical styles
-Develop individualized, functional, and phonological speech-language targets
-Provide consultation to parents and therapy assistants on a regular basis
-Be comfortable with providing pull-out, inclusive, & consultative based services
-Work with a BCBA in designing functional communication training and supports
-Have a basic understanding of positive reinforcement & contingency management strategies
-Place emphasis on enhancing clients’ functional play, social, & adaptive living skills

Program Specifics:

-Early intervention ABA day treatment program
-Services provided to children ages 2-5 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
-Programming occurs during two, 3hr sessions per day: 9-12 am & 1-4 pm
-Program clinicians include BCBA, Clinical Coordinator, lead teacher, & Therapy Assistants
-Clinical methodologies include discrete trial training & natural environment teaching
-Staff training and development opportunities will be provided most Fridays.
-Reduce challenging behaviors and enhance social, living, verbal, & functional play skills

Children’s Therapy Center is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team! Our SLP will join our Early Intervention team serving children

processing, play-based therapy, feeding, and/or NDT. (S)he will have a strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
Perform evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools
Develop and implement developmentally appropriate goals
Maintain timely treatment records and progress reports
Consistently assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Provide parent training and support as an integral part of the therapy program
Order orthotics, assistive devices, and/or adaptive equipment as necessary
Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team

Qualifications
Demonstrable experience and other qualifications:
Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university (candidates with the ability to earn their degree prior to start of employment will be considered)
Dedicated to quality, with a willingness to learn and share
Experience working with children with developmental delay or disability preferred
Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and multi-disciplinary teams
Must have or obtain a SLP license in the State of Washington prior to start
Current CPR and First Aid certifications and a valid Driver’s License and/or reliable transportation

The dispensing audiologist will be responsible for performing comprehensive diagnostic testing/hearing evaluations on patients of all ages, counseling, assisting patients with selection, fitting, follow-up care, and education. 2-3 years’ dispensing experience required, Lyric experience preferred.

The diagnostic audiologist will work with our dizzy patients, focusing on balance disorder diagnostics. Responsibilities will include providing vestibular testing and treatment, VNG, VEMP, performing rotary chair testing and sub-testing. Both recent graduates and experienced audiologists will be considered.

Qualified candidates must be an Au.D. level audiologist, have or be eligible to obtain appropriate California State licensure, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where continuous learning/research opportunities are available.
