We are searching for a self-driven, community focused audiologist to join our team. The audiologist is responsible for performing a full range of diagnostic hearing and vestibular testing, pediatric/adult hearing assessments, balance assessments (VNG and CDP), ABR, as well as dispensing hearing aids to best fit the patient and their needs, and providing appropriate follow-up care. The audiologist will join our existing audiologist and oto-techs in completing clerical tasks such as scheduling, ordering supplies, maintaining patient charts, cleaning equipment, etc.

Owensboro, KY may be the 4th largest city in Kentucky, but it sure has a small-town feel! This great city is the industrial, medical, retail and cultural hub of western Kentucky. Part-time Audiologist Position Available in Portland, OR

AUDIOLOGIST NEEDED – Portland, OR – Part-Time

Mt. Hood ENT & Allergy has provided quality Otolaryngology services for over 25 years. At Mt. Hood ENT, we take a different approach than most practices. We listen to our patients and create a treatment plan that helps achieve their goals. We offer comprehensive services, which include allergy and sinus, snoring and sleep apnea, facial plastics, ENT pediatrics, hearing loss, hearing aids and audiology. Our team works together to provide the best care possible for our patients and their families.

We are currently searching for a part-time audiologist to join our team. The audiologist is responsible for performing comprehensive audiologic evaluations, which may include diagnostic hearing evaluations, OAE and tympanometry. The audiologist will counsel patients regarding test results and reviews options to best meet their hearing care needs. Other duties may include supporting the dispensing audiologist with selection, fitting, earmold acoustics, and ongoing management with patient follow-up and education.

Qualified candidates must possess an AuD or Master’s level degree, and be appropriately licensed in the State of Oregon.

We welcome you to join us for Southern California’s first sleep-away camp for children and teens who stutter—Camp SAY West Coast!
We are looking for volunteer counselors who meet the following criteria and are hoping that you can assist us in recommending qualified volunteers who meet the following criteria:

Experience working with children and teens
18-years-old and up
Speech-language pathologists or graduate students in speech-language pathology
Must have passed their graduate fluency disorders course
Be passionate, enthusiastic, and respectful!
Camp SAY West Coast will take place at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center in Orange, CA from Friday, October 20th to Sunday, October 22nd. There will be a mandatory volunteer training day on Thursday, October 19th. As a bunk counselor, you will sleep in the bunkhouse with your assigned group of children.

This position is a for those who would like to make a difference with people living with ALS. Seeking volunteers to assemble and create low-tech communications boards to distribute to Speech Language Pathologists (SLP’s) and Care Services Staff (contents have already been chosen). This is to aid SLP’s during treatment sessions, in order to immediately be able to loan a communication items free of charge to clients. Students work under the guidance of the Assistive Technology Coordinator with the ALS Association Evergreen Chapter.

Conference Description:

This two day course will provide comprehensive education on optimizing physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer.  The first day will serve as an overview of the medical management of pediatric oncology with special emphasis on therapy considerations.  The second day will include presentations from therapists that specialize in oncology and will cover case study presentations and panel discussions to explore clinical questions related to the pediatric oncology population. Presentation topics will be directed toward professionals who work with children with cancer.
