Eric M. Stuve is Professor of Chemical Engineering and Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the University of Washington. He obtained his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978 and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Stanford University in 1983. He did post-doctoral work at the Fritz Haber Institute in Berlin in 1984 and has been at the University of Washington since 1985. Stuve is a Fellow of the American Vacuum Society. His teaching interests are Energy & Environment, Surface Reactions, Fuel Cell Engineering, and Process Design. He enjoys bicycling and calligraphy.
