Good Morning Huskies,
You’re halfway through finals week! If yesterday’s dark and gloomy weather was getting you down, today should be much brighter for the most part.
Mostly cloudy skies are the norm across Western Washington this morning in the wake of yesterdays rainfall. We should remain dry this morning into the early afternoon hours, but some lingering moisture later this afternoon combined with enough sunbreaks could allow for a few downpours to bubble up. Depending on how much clearing we get over the next few hours, there could be enough energy in the atmosphere for a few rumbles of thunder in stronger showers. However, most of us will just see cloudy skies or some brief rain.
Expect high temperatures today to make it up into the lower 70s, which is actually slightly above average for this time of year.
Thursday looks to feature mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers across the area, so keep those raincoats handy if you are out and about. Juneuary makes a comeback on Friday and into the weekend, so if you were planning on celebrating the end of the quarter outdoors, you might have to dodge some raindrops.
