Good Afternoon Huskies,
Summer has officially arrived! Hopefully you are enjoying our 15 hours and 59 minutes of daylight today.
High temperatures should reach the high 60s or low 70s this afternoon. Cloudy skies will keep evening temperatures warmer as lows in the high 50s are likely. Summer Solstice featured scattered showers this morning and Convergence Zone action is anticipated in Snohomish County this evening. Breezy 13-16 mph winds from the south are expected.
Tomorrow should be mostly dry, though keep an eye on the radar if you go for a morning Father’s Day walk. Showers are possible in the Puget Sound lowlands and more likely in the Cascade foothills. Temperatures should peak in the high 60s to low 70s in the afternoon.
You may need to find your sunscreen soon as warm temperatures and sun dominate this week’s forecast. Highs in the high 70s and low 80s are expected Monday through Friday while most nights will be fairly warm in the upper 50s.
