Happy Friday Huskies!

It is another beautiful summer morning out there with sunny skies and temperatures currently in the upper 60s. However, our sunshine will soon be replaced by some clouds cover this afternoon and a chance of some sprinkles. So if you have any sun dependent plans, get out there and enjoy it this morning! Those clouds will limit our daytime heating a bit, but most of us should still make it up to the upper 70s to 80 degrees today.

In typical Seattle fashion, our weekend will feature cooler temperatures and some rainfall. A weak disturbance makes its way into the area overnight tonight into Saturday, bringing with it much cooler temperatures and rainfall. While it wont be a washout by any means, a pesky convergence zone will develop in the central sound Friday night into Saturday, bringing with it periods of more persistent rainfall.

We’ll keep those showers around Saturday night into Sunday morning, but offshore flow starts to take over midday Sunday which will help in clearing out any remaining showers Sunday afternoon.

Monday looks to be a beautiful start to week 2 of the quarter with sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees again.
