Forecast: August 6th, 2020

By Rachael Fewkes

Good Morning, Huskies!

For the first time in a LONG while, we are seeing rain this morning throughout the region! Along with a little precipitation, we’ll experience a significant drop in temperatures today with highs only expected to reach the mid 60s, which should give us a cool, refreshing break from the summer heat.

If you’re hoping to get outside today and enjoy the cooler weather without breaking out your umbrella, conditions should dry up as we move into the afternoon. By this evening, we’ll be left with mostly cloudy skies, and the rain will once again be a distant memory.

If you haven’t had enough warmth and sunshine yet, you can expect partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 70s to return tomorrow. Comfortable highs in the low-to-mid 70s will likely stick around for most of next week, with the exception of Monday hitting the low 80s.
