Forecast: August 29th, 2020

Hey Huskies,

Hopefully you enjoyed our week of pleasant weather. The “Fall feel” is back with cooler temperatures lingering into the mornings, but temperatures have consistently risen into the 70s this past week so the transition to an afternoon “Fall feel” has not arrived yet. Today’s view from the Atmospheric Science Building is cloudy, but by mid afternoon the view should be partially sunny. Clear skies are expected Sunday.

Highs in the Puget Sound will be slightly cooler today, with temperatures cresting in the low 70s. Clear skies overnight will lead to cool temperatures in the low 50s in the early morning, but tomorrow’s high temperature should rebound to the mid 70s. After a chance of showers Sunday night, next week’s weather will likely be five to ten degrees warmer with highs eclipsing 80 degrees and lows in the upper 50s and mostly sunny skies.

Enjoy the weekend!
