Good morning Huskies!
It’s a cold one out there this morning, with folks in the Seattle area waking up to temperatures in the low 30s. I saw a lot of frosty car windows while I was out walking my dog a few moments ago!

I hope that everyone was able to enjoy the sunny weather we had yesterday, as today marks a transition back to a more unsettled weather pattern. Clouds will be on the increase as we go through the day and rain will begin in the area by late afternoon. By Wednesday, we may see a break in the soggy weather (and maybe even a little sunshine), but that break will be short lived. Another, possibly stronger, system will bring more steady rain and breezy conditions to the area by the end of the week.

Temperatures will be fairly consistent throughout the week, with highs in the upper 40s each day – definitely too cold for snow here in the Seattle area. As we head east into the Cascades though, it’s a different story. The mountain passes should pickup several inches of snow later today and tonight, and possibly even more as we go throughout the week – definitely good news for all the skiers and snowboarders out there.
Have a great week!
