Forecast: December 4th, 2020
By Rachael Fewkes
Good Afternoon, Huskies!
We’re seeing yet another day of beautiful clear skies and sunshine paired with relatively warm temperatures for this time of year. It’s not very often we start off the month of December with an entire week of dry conditions and highs in the mid 50s, so hopefully you’ve gotten a chance within the past few days to spend some time outdoors and enjoy the unusually cooperative weather!
If you haven’t yet soaked up any Vitamin D, don’t worry. You still have plenty of time! You can expect the blue skies to stick around through tomorrow evening before showers briefly move through the region overnight tomorrow and into Sunday morning. Any precipitation we see on Sunday should wrap up by the afternoon, leaving us with overcast skies Sunday night and all day Monday. Highs will remain in the low to mid 50s.
Tuesday is when it’ll really start feeling like the murky, wet December we know and love here in Western WA. Models are showing frequent fronts making their way through the area starting Tuesday morning and blessing us with on-and-off rain for the foreseeable future. If that’s not perfect weather for staying indoors and studying for finals, I don’t know what is!
Have a wonderful week!
