Good Afternoon Huskies!
I hope the week before finals is treating you well and you are able to get started on studying for those tests! Within the last 24 hours, the Atmospheric Science and Geophysics rooftop has accumulated a little over 0.4 inches of rain. If my dad wasn’t ashamed of how my insanely energetic Labrador-Border Collie mix dog tore up our backyard, I would show you the mudpit he created with his talons – I mean toenails.
The weather around campus should be drier today with overcast clouds and a few scattered showers for a few hours during “dinnertime” (if I ate dinner at 6pm). Temperatures should be in low 50s today, and the low in the high 30s tonight, with it getting colder for the next few days with more rain on the way.
Winds are from the south with gusts around 10 mph, but that should calm down until Thursday night to Friday morning with gusts in the mid teens. At this point I will take no wind if I get to sail, but we gotta stay safe from the pandemic, folks! But also… study…
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week and good luck with finals!
