Somehow it is the middle of week 9 and the end of the quarter is almost in sight! A mixture of clouds and sun will stick with us during the day today along with highs in the upper 60s, but our next weather system off our coast will move in overnight tonight bringing some stormy weather that would be more typical of late March or early April than late May.

Rainfall will spread inland overnight tonight with the steadiest rain impacting the U-District during the morning hours as the cold front pushes through. By the afternoon hours that steady rain will taper off to a mixture of showers, sunbreaks, along with an isolated rumble of thunder or two.

Highs tomorrow will only be making it into the mid to upper 50s, which is about 10 degrees below average for this time of year. Combine that with some breezy winds and it will be a perfect day to crank out some of those final assignments of the quarter!

A ridge of high pressure will start to build over the west coast into the weekend which will bring our temperatures back up into the 70s next week.
