Forecast: May 27th, 2021

By Rachael Fewkes

Hey Huskies,

Hopefully you’re enjoying the cooler temperatures and stormy conditions we’ve seen throughout the morning! The bouts of rainfall and gusty winds are being brought to us by a strong front (especially for this time of year) passing through the region. You can expect a mix of scattered showers and sunbreaks to continue through the afternoon with possible thunderstorms this evening capable of producing small hail.

Starting tomorrow, we’ll experience a pattern of drying out and warming up that will persist through the middle of next week. Highs will gradually heat up into the low 70s by this weekend and could potentially hit 80 by next Tuesday and Wednesday. Shorts and t-shirt weather is rapidly approaching.

The toasty temperatures in the forecast are a sign that summer will be here soon. Only a little over a week left of the quarter before finals!

Have a wonderful Thursday!
