Hey Huskies,

Happy second day of the quarter! Hopefully all your classes are going well so far. Over the past few days, we’ve really taken a dive into fall weather with the overcast skies and wet conditions, giving a not-so-warm (but very Seattle-esque) welcome to all the new faces on campus. For those of you who are new to campus, be sure to tread carefully through Red Square whenever it’s raining, as the bricks are known for becoming slippery!

You shouldn’t have to tread carefully for much longer, however. The showers we’ve been seeing throughout this morning will intensify into a steady, heavy rain as we head into the afternoon, and will last into the evening before fizzling out overnight. Tomorrow you can expect any residual low clouds in the morning to make way for some sunshine by mid-day.

As for the weekend ahead, temperatures will stay consistent in the upper 50s and low 60s. Cloud cover will increase on Saturday followed by a few sprinkles Sunday morning before drying out again just in time for the workweek.

Stay dry and have a wonderful rest of your afternoon!
