It’s a beautiful Easter Sunday thanks to a weak upper-level ridge passing through! Western WA is enjoying mostly sunny skies, dry weather, and relatively warm temps in the mid to upper 50s. You can expect the sunshine and dry conditions to persist through the rest of the day.

Heading into the workweek, a series of systems will be headed our way, resulting in rain returning to the region. Tomorrow morning, a front will move in, bringing showers that will last through the day. Highs will drop back into the low 50s, a few degrees cooler than today.

Mountains will see new snow overnight and early tomorrow as snow levels will fall below the pass elevations. Be sure to check pass reports prior to traveling over any mountain passes at https://wsdot.com/travel/real-time/mountainpasses.

Inches of snowfall forecasted between 5:00 PM tonight and 5:00 PM Tuesday.

An unstable airmass combined with daytime heating on Tuesday could give us isolated thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon, so stay tuned for updates on that! The NWS Storm Prediction Center’s Convective Outlook (below) is showing a chance for non-severe thunderstorms on Tuesday over the areas highlighted in green.

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
