Happy Wednesday Huskies!

Today’s been a relatively warm day with plenty of sun breaks (by the previous week’s standards, anyway), surely a welcome reprieve from drizzles and dampness. Unfortunately, it’s not meant to last, as an off-shore cold front will be sitting on top of us through much of tomorrow, dumping precipitation over us for some relatively heavier rainfall than what we’ve been seeing. Colder temperatures may also be expected, as we’ll drop into the high 40s/low 50s for much of Thursday. Parts of Oregon/Northern California will get much more precipitation than us, but nevertheless, maybe consider bringing your umbrella on your walk to class tomorrow (if you’re willing to put up with ridicule from Seattleite natives, that is).

Thursday evening and Friday morning may look to be a little drier, but precipitation is expected to start up again late Friday as another system moves over us. Saturday too, may bring some more precipitation, as strong westerly flow may lead to a typical Puget Sound Convergence Zone event, creating clouds and precipitation over us.

In conclusion, it’s looking wet and cold through the weekend. Get out and enjoy the sun today while you can, because it’ll be a few days before we get anything like today again.
