Hey, Huskies!
Enjoy the warm sunshine while you can today because a brief cold front will be sweeping through the area tomorrow, bringing some rain and wind with it!
This cold front is associated with a low pressure system approaching the Vancouver Island area. Its pressure gradients are going to pummel the Washington coast with strong south-westerly winds, which has been issued a gale warning and advisories for rough waves offshore.
Hold on tight to your umbrellas, Huskies, although our winds won’t be quite as gusty as the coast, Seattle is still going to get quite breezy! As the system approaches, we can expect a moderate band of precipitation to greet us tomorrow morning with growing winds that will peak in the early afternoon!
Although the weather won’t look too nice, our temperatures will be hanging around a happy high 50s to cheer us up! The small trough that is dragging in this weather will be out of our hair in no time, a new ridge is coming our way with promising drier weather! Although we will be saying goodbye to our sunshine for 24 hours, it is a great appetizer for brighter weather this weekend with some lovely near temperatures near 70 degrees!
