Hello Huskies! Happy Monday!

A weekend with almost no rain and sunny skies, with temperatures soaring to 67 on Saturday and 71 on Sunday, has made some of us almost ‘spoiled’. This week, we will return to normal Seattle weather, though.

The first part of this week is a double-edged sword: the skies will be fairly cloudy, except for some short sun breaks, for most of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but at least we will generally remain dry, and temperatures will top out in the low to mid 60s – substantially warmer than what we had experienced prior to this previous weekend!

Unfortunately, it looks like the second half of the week, beginning roughly Thursday morning, will feature scattered showers and some light rain, with temperatures dropping for highs in the upper 50s.

Of course, most Seattleites know that long-term weekend sunshine is an extremely rare treat. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like Memorial Day weekend will be rainy and cloudy; most people won’t want to hang outside then. On the contrary, though, not only will this allow students to study, it will also bring a ‘solemn’ mood, correctly signifying what Memorial Day really is. On a much brighter note, the end of the quarter is approaching, and because this is Spring Quarter, there will be a few Dawgcast students who will graduate! We’ll mention that more in a later blog.

Have a great week, Huskies, and don’t forget to keep in mind that finals are on the horizon!
