Cloudy Sky With Break From Warm Weather

Hi Huskies. Happy Monday!

After experiencing a series of warm days, the weather in the Pacific Northwest finally decided to take a little break. The temperature dropped back to the 60s early this week, and some early birds might have heard the raindrops this morning bringing down the temperature. Let’s take a peek at the seven-day forecast to find out how long the break will last.

It is cloudy today, Monday, May 22nd. If you take a second to look heads up, there should be some medium-height clouds waving to you. The clouds are going to keep the sunlight from sharing their solar radiation with the ground for another one or two days. The highest temperature will be in the high 60s in the early morning, offering a couple quite chilly nights.

Clouds are going to hover around throughout Tuesday due to a small low pressure system visiting the Pacific Northwest (green color in the Upper Air Pattern image). Our low-pressure guest will not stay for long, and the sun will gradually return after Wednesday, giving us another round of warm-up in the later part of the week. The high temperature rises above 70 and has a chance of reaching 80 on Friday. The guest will politely return, entering the weekend with some fluffy marshmallow clouds and temperatures in the high 60s and low 70s.

There is not much sign of precipitation throughout the week, with less than 20% of the chance of showers on weekends. The weather this week is generally calm compared to the hot and smoky days we just went through.

Hope you have a wonderful weak!
