Happy Thursday Huskies! I hope you are having a great Week 9 of your quarter.

As you clearly see, today is a sunny day with few clouds in sight. This is due to northwesterly flow, which keeps us sunny but not too warm. Afternoon high temperatures in our region will be around 73 degrees, give or take a couple degrees depending on how close you are to the water.

As for precipitation, nothing is expected here. Phew. However, if you happen to be traveling to the northeastern corner of our state sometime today, be prepared for thunderstorms and possible heavy rain.

Looking ahead, tomorrow will be warm and sunny, with temperatures near the 80 degree mark. The long weekend, however, will see a cooling trend due to marine air, with more morning clouds and temperatures about 10 degrees cooler.

Finish strong before the long weekend!
