October 17th Forecast

Hey Huskies! What’s up? Spoiler alert! Clouds.

Starting off the day we have some showers moving through the area. Much calmer compared to yesterday’s half inch of rainfall. Today’s precipitation will be much lighter but will start to pick up later on in the evening.

Up north in British Columbia they are having much heavier rain due to an atmospheric river impacting the area. With the main moisture stream going North of us, we are just on the edge of that stream giving us a fraction of what’s happening up North.

Expect a high temperature of around 60 today with an overnight low of around 50. As High pressure strengthens tonight, downward sinking and compression of air will occur tomorrow, leading to a pleasant Wednesday. Low seventies will be a common theme with an abundance of sunshine. Thursday will be a carbon copy of Wednesday with an additional promotion of Fall Vitamin D. Embellish these conditions though as our area will be introduced to some new disturbance that moves in this weekend leading to a renewed chance of rain and much cooler temps.

Have a great rest of your day!
