Hey Huskies! We hope you’re getting your fix of sunshine and dry weather while you can. We’ve enjoyed a nice lull in the action for the past several days, as evidenced by this pristine satellite image taken yesterday afternoon. Over the past few weeks, the Cascades have enjoyed their early-season mountain snow, which also makes an appearance.
These past few mornings have been near-freezing in Western Washington thanks to clear skies at night, and this will continue into the weekend. Afternoon temperatures will struggle to hit 50 degrees, and areas further away from Puget Sound may hit the freezing mark in the early morning hours. Waking up earlier to defrost cars may be necessary for the next couple days.
AWAY GAME FORECAST!
On Saturday at 4:30 PM, your #5 Husky football team will take on the #11 Oregon State Beavers in Corvallis, OR. Stowing away on the team bus will be some classic Seattle fall weather. A frontal passage is slated for Saturday afternoon across the Pacific Northwest, which will lead to soggy conditions at Reser Stadium. If you’re making the trip, don’t forget your rain gear!
