Happy first of December Huskies! I know you are all grinding out the last couple weeks so that you can enjoy a well-deserved holiday break.
I wish it wasn’t the case, but I am bringing rather bleak weather conditions for this weekend.
Starting tonight there will be a wind advisory in effect from 11 pm to 6 am Saturday morning. Gusts of wind are expected to get up to 50 mph so, those who are choosing to stay out tonight well past midnight may want to reconsider and return home earlier than expected or exceed caution at the threat of any falling tree limbs. As last time, there may even be potential power outages. For the temperature in the evening, it will be a usual chilly and rainy night with a low in the low-40s.
Now getting to our weekend, Saturday temperatures will reach the mid-50s during the day while the lows will be a lot like today’s lows. Mostly we are expecting clouds with a chance of rain in the morning. Although we will likely see some sunbreaks during the day. Starting Saturday night we will have to watch out for flooding due to excessive rainfall. This flood watch will be in effect until Wednesday. From the wind advisory and flood watch, it does not look like it will be a good weekend to be outside.
Sunday night will bring some more showers and winds as well and the next few days of Monday and Tuesday will look similar with lots of rain, clouds, and quite breezy winds.
Stay safe this weekend Huskies especially to those who plan on driving and those who aren’t, keep cozy inside for some rainy days ahead.
