Happy Friday, Huskies!
Hope you have been enjoying the sunnier skies and break from the rain after the downpours we have had lately. Also, hope you’re all surviving dead week and are excited for the upcoming break.
There’s going to be more cloud build up later tonight and possibly a chance of showers this afternoon hinting towards the upcoming weekend rain that will start tomorrow morning. Temperatures tonight will dip into the mid-30s, making for the perfect chilly weather for staying inside and getting started on some much-needed studying for finals.
We are going to be seeing rain throughout the day on Saturday, as well as cool temperatures and a high around 40 degrees. Temperatures will cool down slightly in the evening before some warm and moist air moves in to cause slight warming overnight. As Sunday rolls in, we will see even more rain and the possibility of sunbreaks during the daytime accompanied with breezy winds. We’ll warm up on Sunday as well, bringing snow levels higher and, in combination with the expected precipitation, increasing the likelihood of flooding especially near rivers.
More showers are likely on Monday, especially earlier in the day as conditions will dry by the evening. The sun will make a grand return on Tuesday, just in time to distract those of you with mid-week exams. Clear conditions Tuesday night may line up with the new moon to make for some great star-gazing especially further from the city’s light pollution.
Good luck on your finals Huskies, and enjoy the weather 🙂
