Hey Huskies! Can you believe that we are already on week eight of the quarter?

Some light showers are present around today with mostly cloudy conditions. A quick look at outside from our webcam shows those ominous clouds in the background but clearly, that doesn’t stop our seagull buddy from taking to the skies today. Unfortunately, this gloomy weather will be sticking around for the rest of the day before more rain arrives tomorrow.

Tomorrow is looking to be a wetter version of today. You can expect a soggy morning commute with showers persisting into the afternoon. High temperatures will linger around the upper 40s before southerly winds bring warmer temps in the later half of the week.

Looking beyond to the rest of our week we are expecting a warm up for the back half, with sunbreaks abound on Thursday, Friday and even into Saturday before the rain and cooler temps return Sunday. For all of you in the planning phase for the back half of your week, make sure to incorporate some outdoor activities as we look forward to mild temps and amenable skies. Low temperatures could dip into the upper 30s come weekend but if you keep your activities to the afternoon you should be able to absorb all the vitamin D and (relatively) warm weather you could ask for from February.

Hang in there Huskies as we enter the home stretch of the quarter. But be sure to enjoy yourself during the lull between round two of midterms and finals crunch time.
