Spring Weather to Finish out March!

Last updated 2:45 PM, Friday March 29th, 2024

Happy Friday, Huskies!

Congratulations on making it through the first week of spring quarter! The weather seems to be in a celebratory mood, as the sun is finally out and the mountain is making a (blurry) appearance on the webcam.

Today’s high will be in the low-to-mid 50s, which is slightly warmer than what we’ve seen this week, and just on target for this time of year. Tonight’s low in the low 40s is also average for this time of year. After a colder than average early March, a warmer than average mid-March, we have finally returned to average temperatures to close out the month.

As we head into April, we can expect temperatures to generally warm up as average high temperatures sit around 57 degrees and lows are around 45 degrees. Rainy days usually lessen as we move towards the summer season, opting for more sunbathing and other outdoor activities!

To finish up March, we are heading into a lovely spring weekend with some clouds among blue skies and warmer temperatures. Tomorrow we reach a high of 55 degrees, and things will keep warming up as we reach a high of 61 degrees on Monday, so start breaking out those shorts (and paddle boards or kayaks) and visit the cherry blossoms while they’re still in full bloom!

Have a great weekend, Huskies!
