Happy Wednesday Huskies!

We can thank a beautiful upper level ridge for this calm, clear weather to make today really feel like spring. The current satellite image shows just a few stray clouds over the eastern half of our state, with the rest of western WA basking in the sun. On average, Seattle gets about 150 days of sun per year, so soak it up while you can Huskies.

Today’s high should reach about 56 degrees, still on the cooler end for a full day of sun. Fortunately, we still have two more days of sunshine after this, with Thursday’s high jumping up to 62, and Friday seeing temperatures as high as 67. Overnight, lows are expected to be in the low 40s, since the skies will have no insulating clouds to retain the day’s warmth.

This weekend is looking to be quite a bit more dreary than last weekend, with showers expected Saturday evening and overnight into Sunday. Sunday as a whole is looking to be nicer than Saturday for rain lovers, with the Seattle area expected to be dry, cool, and partly cloudy. However, a stray shower cannot be ruled out, especially across the rest of western WA. In the meantime, keep this snapshot of our ATG webcam in your hearts as we finish out Week 4.

We have a cheerful rest of the week to look forward to, Huskies!
