Happy Friday, Huskies!
Congratulations on making it to the end of week 8! The weather is joining in the celebration by giving us a brief respite in the rain. Skies will remain partly cloudy, with high temperatures peaking in the low-to-mid 60s. Chances of showers will increase in the evening hours and we will hit a typical May low of 46 degrees.
A weak trough will move through the area tonight into tomorrow, bringing patches of showers to western Washington. Temperatures will also be below normal, likely not even breaking 60 degrees. Sunday’s weather will be cool as well, but drier, with partly cloudy skies and a high in the upper 50s. So, if you plan on hitting up the U-district street fair, Sunday’s your best bet.
Monday will be a brief break from the weekend cool streak, with temperatures in the upper 60s and mostly sunny skies. However, the rain will return along with some more cooler-than-average temperatures mid-week, not even reaching above 60 on Tuesday as we have another stronger front rolling in.
Enjoy the weekend Huskies!
