Happy Wednesday Huskies!

This morning, we saw the return of fog to the region as a chilly morning persists across Seattle. This is the time of year where clear skies overnight along with moisture still on the ground can bring the potential for low clouds and fog as it was the case earlier this morning. Check out this shot from the Space Needle of the low clouds.

As we look at the almanac for today, we will see that it will be below average again as temperatures are excepted to be in the low 50s this afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. The average for this time of year should be in the upper 50s while the low should be in the mid 40s. Nothing is compared to the 32 degrees felt in 1953 and the 73 degrees Seattle felt in 1992.

The rest of the week outlook consists of mostly cloudy skies continuing for Thursday and Friday as temperatures continue to be running below average in the low to mid 50s. Things will change as we head into the last weekend of October as a system from the west will bring rain and gusty winds back to the area on Saturday. Showers will persist Sunday and Monday with no major wind excepted on those days, but temps will take a tumble as we start the new school week next week with temperatures only reaching the upper 40s.

Enjoy the dry weather, Huskies!
