Happy Wednesday, Huskies!

As we continue through Halloween week, the weather will turn spooky during the afternoon as a cold front will move through the region. This will bring rain and gusty winds, with most of the wind confined to the north and west coastal regions. As the front passes, snow will begin to fall up in the Cascades as snow levels will drop to 4000 ft later today. Several inches are possible for the mountains, with the heaviest accumulation occurring in the southern Cascades. Very exciting news for ski lovers out there!

Once the front passes, scattered showers persist throughout the night and into early Thursday morning. We will get a brief rain break on Thursday afternoon before another weak system brushes through Thursday night into the day on Friday. If you plan to trick-or-treat tomorrow night, make sure you grab a rain jacket or an umbrella to dodge the chance of showers as you get candy. As we head into the first weekend of November, it is looking like a dry weekend is in store for us as cloud coverage will decrease on Saturday. On Sunday, it will be partly cloudy skies as we fall back to daylight savings once more. Temperatures throughout this period will be chilly with highs only reaching the low 50s, which is below average for this time of year.

Enjoy the spooky season, Huskies!
