Afternoon Huskies,
As we head into the last FIRST week of November, clear skies and high 50s are all the rage. Additionally, the satellite views are a welcome sight today as snow is again visible on the peaks of the Cascade and Olympic Mountains.
Going into the weekend things are not as chipper. A lower trough will brush past the Northwest on Saturday bringing with it clouds, drizzles, and a good ol’ dumping of rain into Sunday night. Cold temperatures will also prevail, so overall a great weekend to bundle up and study for those ever-present midterms.
Monday, though postfrontal, may cause atmospheric instability with rain and showers trading throughout the day. So keep a lookout for a passing thundershower heading into next week, but more information is to come on those developments.
But putting aside the wet weekend ahead, today and tomorrow are perfect days to enjoy the beauty of Autumn in the Northwest (and a great night for stargazing too!).
Enjoy the end of the week Huskies!
