Hey Huskies! Happy end of week one! We have a quick weekend forecast and some mountain snow updates for you guys!

Seattle started off its Friday on a pretty bleak note. It was quite a rude awakening from our past few days of sunshine. We had a trough move through the area that gave us this early morning awfulness. Conditions are lightening up now and the rest of our Friday is looking to be cloudy. Tomorrow morning, with low pressure still up in the atmosphere, we might see some early showers but the rest of the day is going to be mostly cloudy and we might potentially get some sun breaks in that afternoon. Sunday through early next week, the weather is looking to be sunny and clear. Temperatures however are projected to be a bit more on the chilly side compared to this week. So make sure to bundle up and pack some sunshades on your way to class!

Unfortunately for our winter sports fans, snow accumulation in the Cascades has dropped from the original forecast earlier in the week. A few inches of wet snow has already fallen, with a few more inches of wintry mix expected this evening and into tonight. Snow showers are expected to continue into the weekend however, possibly leaving a few more inches of snow by the end of the day on Sunday.

Have a great weekend! Please keep the people of Southern California in your thoughts as they experience this horrific situation and offer support to people you may know that are affected.
