Before Finals Comes Rain

Last updated 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025

Good afternoon, Huskies! Hope you have been doing well so far studying for finals this week! We have pretty pleasant weather for the next day or two, before “study weather” returns on Thursday.

With winds being relatively calm tomorrow, that will allow some fog to settle in for the early morning hours, before eventually clearing up as we get closer to noontime. The afternoon looks pretty nice, with just some scattered clouds throughout the region.

Soak up the sun while you can, Huskies, because rain is arriving in Seattle early Thursday morning. This rain is expected to continue into the weekend, fitting weather for dead week. Take this as a sign from Mother Nature to stop procrastinating and to start studying. You can also expect snow to be above the passes in the coming days, so no major travel hazards.

Happy Monday Huskies! Keep fighting for the end of the quarter!
