Hey Huskies! We hope that your week 3 is off to a good start. Despite this morning’s damp weather, we have a few days of sunshine to look forward to later this week. Today we are seeing roughly average temperatures with a high in the mid-50s and a low just above 40.
Looking at the current satellite imagery, the too comfortable grey-blanket is finally being pulled off as clouds begin to dissipate for a chance of afternoon sunbreaks. We are expecting to see a dry rest of our day as the showers from this morning move out of our vicinity.
Expect some warming up as we head into the heart of our week, but don’t put away your raincoat’s just yet as more rounds of rain could be coming our way. Tomorrow we will see highs in the upper 50s with partly cloudy skies before Thursday where chances of scattered showers throughout the day are likely. This should be the last of the wet weather as we dry out and warm up for the weekend. On Friday and Saturday we can expect temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s, perfect weather for College Night at T-Mobile Park or visiting the tulips in Skagit Valley.
Through the rest of our week we are expecting rainfall totals to however around the half and inch mark in the lowlands, with roughly four-tenths of an inch expected for the Seattle Metro-area.
Have a great rest of your week, Huskies!
