Led by Dr. Caryl Feldacker, the 2wT team stands as a dynamic consortium rooted at the University of Washington, actively engaging with stakeholders globally. Dr. Feldacker, a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Global Health (DGH), leads initiatives through two key centers: I-TECH and GlobalWach. This multidisciplinary team collaborates with faculty, students, and organizations worldwide.

The 2wT team seamlessly aligns with DGH’s mission—to advance global health through comprehensive research, education, training, and service. They address the root causes of diseases and health disparities while fostering partnerships for locally-led, high-quality health systems.

Operating within I-TECH, the 2wT team boasts an international footprint. Dr. Hannock Tweya, based in Malawi, is a pivotal collaborator leading the 2wT Malawi project and CARES, with support from Marrrianne Holec, the Senior Program Manager.

In testament to their interdisciplinary approach, 2wT collaborates seamlessly with the Department of Computer Sciences and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Washington. Dr. Richard Anderson, a distinguished figure in CSE, serves as a key collaborator, reflecting the team’s commitment to leveraging technology for global health.

Furthermore, 2wT extends its impact through collaborations with leading organizations like Medic, Aurum Institute in South Africa, Lighthouse Trust in Malawi, and Zim-TTECH in Zimbabwe. These partnerships underscore the team’s dedication to fostering meaningful relationships and amplifying their global health initiatives.
