Winters or Summers in Seattle?
Both! Summer for floating in the lakes, picnics outside, going for long bike rides and camping. Winter for being cozy and going skiing.
About Me
I’m a third year in the Alaska Track who is interested in general pediatrics. I grew up in the Midwest and moved to Seattle for residency sight unseen (and love it here). Find me playing outside, eating new food around town, or crocheting on my time off.
Why UW Pediatrics/Seattle Children’s?
We all say it, but the people! I love my co-residents ❤️ As part of the Alaska Track, I’m grateful to have 4 months a year dedicated to primary care/community pediatrics. e.
Why Seattle?
I love the city and the mountains/water that surrounds it. The city is full of amazing food, music, parks etc. The Puget Sound, Cascades, and Olympics have so much to explore. I love being able to unwind after a shift at Lake Washington or go on a bite sized adventure on a day off.
Interests
Global health, anything outdoors! Yoga-I used to teach hot yoga. I enjoy painting and ceramics
I’d love to talk to you about:
Community/rural pediatrics, working with teens, design in healthcare, being outside, eating good food!
What questions would you love to answer for potential applicants?
Why SCH or alaska track? How to move across the country? Having a partner in residency? Questions about primary care training.
