James is joined by Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson. Wilkerson is currently a distinguished adjunct professor of Government and Public Policy at the College of William & Mary, and a member of the National Task Force on Election Crises and the Transition Integrity Project. Wilkerson served as Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell from 2002-05, and was the Associate Director of the State Department’s Policy Planning staff under Richard Haas.

They discuss counterintelligence and election security, tabletop exercises that simulate a variety of outcomes depending on who wins the election and how they win it, his thoughts on a Trump “off-ramp,” how the Republican Party might rebuild after Trump, and the challenges a Biden/Harris administration will face on day 1.
