Caitlin Ainsley

Caitlin Ainsley (Ph.D., Emory University, 2016) is an assistant professor of Political Science at US and faculty affiliate with the Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences (CSSS). Her research focuses on comparative political institutions, including the politics of monetary policy, central banking, and judicial decision-making. Her recent and ongoing research examines the distributional consequences of central banking and issues of representation and institutional accountability. Caitlin’s research has appeared in the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Journal of Law & Courts, and Governance.
