Noga Rotem
Noga Rotem is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Washington. Her research and teaching focus on contemporary democratic and feminist theory, history of political thought and affect theory. She earned her PhD in Political Theory (2020 with distinction) from the Department of Political Science at Brown University, and her bachelor’s (2009) and Master’s (2012) degrees from Ben-Gurion University in Israel, both summa cum laude. Her first book project draws on the work of Hannah Arendt, Thomas Hobbes and Richard Hofstadter to explore the dangers and the potential promises that paranoia offers to democratic theory and politics.
