Fine Lab Undergraduate Journal Club

Welcome to the (pop-up) Fine Lab Undergraduate Cognitive Neuroscience Journal Club

This is a weekly, informal journal club for the undergraduate or post-bac members of VisCog designed with the aim of getting them ready for grad school.

Registration

If you are a member of the Fine/Boynton laboratory, please register for PSYCH 560 K (Instructor: Ione Fine).

Program Modules

  1. Demystifying Grad School: Panels and workshops providing practical information about the graduate school application process.
  2. Plasticity: Discussions on seminal journal articles about neural plasticity.
  3. Methods: Exploration of various neuroscience methods through journal articles.
  4. Experimental Programming: Hands-on workshops on programming a 2-AFC experiment using MATLAB.

Session Format

  • For journal article discussions, a student will lead the session with guidance from the organizers.
  • Ezgi and Kelly will lead panel discussions and workshops.
