Become a member and take advantage of all of these opportunities!

2024-25 Membership

APAC membership dues are $20/year and this supports scholarships, events and speaker honorariums. APAC advocates for all advisors/advisers/counselors to have their units/departments financially support membership in this professional organization. However, we know this may not always be feasible.

No one will be denied membership from APAC for an inability to pay the membership fee. Please reach out to apac@uw.edu if you have any questions or concerns about paying the membership fee.

Professional Development

As an adviser or counselor, you have the right to spend time on your own professional development. Remember to renew and refresh your own personal and professional reserves so you can continue to do great work. APAC provides many opportunities to renew, refresh, network, collaborate and learn about the latest best practices in advising and counseling. We hope you will become a member of APAC as an ongoing commitment to your professional development.

Scholarships

We award professional development scholarships to members in amounts up to $100 per year. The funds are made available from membership dues and are awarded by the APAC Executive Board on a quarterly basis. Please see our scholarship page for more information.

Becoming a Member

Becoming a member is simple!  Please fill out the APAC membership form. In the form, there will be an option to pay the $20 annual membership via Zelle, check, or Square Reader.
