INCIDENT REPORTING RESOURCES AND STATEMENT OF DEPARTMENTAL SUPPORT
The Department of Biological Structure is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment for all trainees, staff and faculty. Towards this goal, the Department embraces diversity and advances equity by establishing a clear expectation of support and respect by all members.
However, the Department also recognizes that events occur where individuals act with negative bias and do not exhibit the inclusively and equity values of our Department. When this occurs, it is important that all Departmental members feel supported by the Department when reporting these incidents. The Diversity and Inclusivity Committee welcomes feedback, anonymous or otherwise, and will use such feedback to better support our Departmental inclusivity efforts.
