Our outreach program coordinates opportunities for bioengineering students to give back to their communities. Together we volunteer with community organizations, lead interactive STEM activities at local schools and science fairs, develop age-appropriate teaching modules to accompany hands-on activities, promote STEM inclusivity through career panels and high school visits, and more!

With the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, BMES Outreach at UW developed at-home activities based on our DNA Extraction and Build a Prosthetic outreach modules.
