Advanced Transportation Tech Conference — 1 Week Left to Register!

What: We will describe and discuss the impact of vehicle automation, universal wireless connectivity, and Internet-enabled mobility services, among other topics.  Any and all questions about what you have been reading, hearing, and seeing on these transportation technology topics will be answered if you are there to ask the international experts who are on the agenda.

When: PRR is a co-sponsor of the Advanced Transportation Technologies Conference on Friday October 9th at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center.  The focus is “What’s in the Future and How Do We Plan for It?”

Space is now limited, because most available seats have been taken by members and employees of the organizing sponsors, which includes the three King County Transportation Boards, namely, Eastside Transportation Partnership, South County Area Transportation Board, and Seashore Transportation Forum.

America’s top two commuting analysts Bryan Mistele and Alan Pisarski will be interpreting what the world’s best traffic data from INRIX tells us about commuting in this region, and how that commuting could get better with certain technology applications carefully planned and widely deployed.

We have incorporated a strong safety focus into the program, so the integration of technology considerations into the State of Washington’s Target Zero program will be presented by the Executive Director of the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission, Darrin Grondel.  We will also be covering infrastructure issues, ridesharing, and public transit.

Overview, sponsors, and agenda are attached in a three page pdf, or visit the description at http://PlanForNewTech.org
