The Washington Asphalt Pavement Association (WAPA) and its members have made available 27 scholarships of $1,000 each to juniors and seniors in the CEE department. To be considered you must complete an application (Receipient_Profile) and compose a one-page personal statement (the one page requirement is a maximum length, not a minimum). Both the application form and the personal statement must be word processed, combined and converted to a pdf, and submitted via a Catalyst Dropbox.

The submittal due date is January 22nd (Friday) at 5:00 PM. Once all applications are submitted, a review committee will make the selection and notify recipients by email. As noted earlier, no hand-written materials will be accepted.

This is the only information we have to share. Questions about when you will be notified and how soon the money will be made available are not appropriate…however we can state that once the applications are submitted the selection process will move quickly.
