Internships at Transpo Group corporate headquarters in Kirkland, WA

Transpo Group is always seeking the best and the brightest talent to join our team. We will have openings for summer interns looking for a dynamic organization to help grow their career and who want to benefit from the knowledge of experienced Senior Transportation Engineers and Planners.

During the summer months, we invite interns to explore their career path through our Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering disciplines. The internship is a full-time 40-hour per week role, but we can accommodate for class schedules for the beginning and end of the internship program.  If there is interest to continue the internship during the school year, we have a variety of temporary projects of short duration that can accommodate any class schedule. All of our internship positions are paid.

This internship position pays $18/hour for an undergraduate student or $20/hour for a graduate student.

• You will have the opportunity to work full time during Summer Quarter on active transportation projects.
• You will have access to office perks such as training, webinars, and various company events as part of the Transpo team.
• You will be assigned a mentor to provide guidance in professional development.
• You will be eligible to participate in our cell phone reimbursement benefit.

Required Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in a civil engineering or transportation planning program
• Have attained a junior or senior level
• Have a personal vehicle for field assignments.  We will pay mileage reimbursement for your personal vehicle use
• Have proven written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to work successfully both in a team scenario and in an environment where there is little or no daily supervision
