Registration is Now Open for the 28th Annual Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE ) Conference

8:30am – 3:30pm

HUB – Seattle Campus

Please share with your department undergraduate and graduate students, colleagues, and faculty as appropriate. Workshops and presentations will be offered all day that speak to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) educational and career opportunities as well as personal enrichment and professional development. We encourage our women STEM scholars at all levels to attend. There are great opportunities to network and explore opportunities

 ·         Attendees Engage and Explore the Opportunities and Pathways in STEM ·         Connect and network with our academic and industry sponsors

If you or your department has not participated in the past, here is a list of ways we invite our campus community and departments to be involved in the conference:

  1. Share with your department students, colleagues and affiliates to encourage them to participate.
  2. Sponsor a department lunch table. Includes registration for eight (8) seats.
  3. a) Early Bird Registration:     $175    available until Friday, Nov. 30th
  4. b) General Registration:        $200    Dec 1 –  Jan. 18, 2019

 

  1. Sponsor single registration for students in your department to attend – Student Registration:  $25 per student.

 

  1. Provide general conference sponsorship at  $100 minimum:
    • This includes participation in the pre-conference conversations: STEM TED Talks – Inspiring Your Brilliance.  A 6X6 table with two chairs will be provided for department(s) to recruit and share information. Continental breakfast will be included for up to two volunteers.  Time: 8:30am – 9:40am.
      1. If additional student or staff volunteers would like to volunteer at your table the cost is $20 and you may register them as a student.

  • UW departments Registration Access code:  DAWGS2018(not case sensitive).
  • On-line registration will close Friday, January 18, 2019. There will be no on-site registration.
