Dawg Daze Leaders (September 16- September 27, 2019)
Dawg Daze leaders develop programming and logistical support for all Welcome Week events, and act as UW ambassadors to ensure that the week is a memorable and enjoyable experience for all participants. Volunteer leaders are required to be at Husky Kick-Off and at least two other events of their choice. Application closes on May 19, 2019.
Digital Communication Student Coordinator (June 17 – September 25, 2019)
First Year Programs is seeking an energetic, creative, and tech-savvy student who has a passion for impacting student success through communication and social media. The intern will be responsible for the implementation of a new orientation and Dawg Daze app and support social media communications including Facebook, Instagram, Facebook live and short videos.
Student Coordinator for Logistics (June 17 – September 20, 2019)
The position ensures that all program materials, technology, and directional signage for Advising & Orientation is consistent and present. This role is responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks and the person must have high attention to detail and an ability to multi-task.
Student Assistant in Mary Gates Hall (FYP Office) (Start: June – August 2019, ability to extend through academic year)
The Student Assistant (SA) position interacts daily with newly admitted students, their parents, University administrators, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate would have a desire to learn about office and administrative functions, be detail oriented, and be committed to working on a team with a unified vision.
