This unique course on nanomaterials is suitable for science and non-science students alike and provides 5 NW credits in Summer B-term.  The 12 principles of green chemistry will be covered as well as variety of other topics around sustainable design of biomaterials and their application.

Provides an introduction to the science and technology of Biofuels, Bioproducts, and Renewable Energy. In particular, the generation and properties of biofuels and specialty products from lignocellulosic sources will be emphasized. Part of this class will concentrate on the social aspects of biomass to biofuels conversion.
