The School of Environmental and Forest Sciences has openings for salaried and hourly ASE positions in Winter 2020.

- Salary: For salaried ASE positions salary is commensurate with academic standing according to the ASE contract. Hourly positions pay either $24.50 for graduate students or $20.50 for undergraduate students.
Details about individual positions are below:
Predoctoral Instructor – BSE 231 – Technical Writing for BSE
- Duties and Requirements: This position will have full responsibility for teaching the course. This includes any lectures, labs, or field trips. A PhD Candidate making satisfactory progress is preferred.
Teaching Assistant – ESRM 150 – Wildlife in the Modern World
- Duties and Requirements: This position may require attending lectures, facilitating labs and field trips, managing assignments, grading, and possibly presenting lectures in class. Applicants should be graduate students making satisfactory progress.
Hourly Reader Grader – BSE 211 – Creativity and Society
- Duties and Requirements: This position may require attending lectures, and grading assignments and tests. Submission of grades after the last day of the quarter may be necessary. Applicants may be graduate students or undergraduates making satisfactory progress.
Hourly field Trip or Lab Support – BSE 436 – Pul and Paper Lab II
- Duties and Requirements: This position may require attending field trips or labs, driving UW vehicles, handling specimens, and operating equipments. UW Driver Safety Training and First Aid training may be required. Applicants may be graduate students or undergraduates making satisfactory progress.
